On Campaign Jingles
The panda can't even get decent sleep because of the noisy campaign jingles that parade the streets every morning and continues for the rest of the day. Can't even understand who the jingle is campaigning for. It is just random noise to the beat of some ripoff novelty song. Candidates, please help yourselves. Get the best quality hi-fidelity speakers that money can buy. Choose a good jingle -- the one that has a good "hook." And please, if you want us to get to know you, don't race your way to the streets. At least kindly go on a pace where we can understand what the jingle is about and how it can convince us to vote for you. Do these suggestions at the proper hours of the day. Or else, you are wasting time, not to mention the nuisance your noisy gibberish jingles bring.

Haha, Agree to that Panda. They're just making senseless noise on the road.
Hey, Perlas is okay, I like his being environmentalist. How about Bro.Eddie? a Servant of GOD:-)
Bro. Eddie? ahahhahaa, i thought, i had chosen the least evil till you remembered Bro. Eddie. Bet he prays hard everyday to win :D
a better suggestion to candidates: why not just STOP the jingles? we need a new system of politics. enough with the kissing of babies, hugging of grandmas, and singing at town plazas. i play Yano's "TRAPO" song very loudly when the motorcade arrives, and then i notice they lower their speakers' volume when it gets to the part: "di na binoboto pero nananalo, di na binoboto pero nananalo"
That's so Amen. Our neighbor used their yard as base for the Vice Mayoral campaign, and they always play Lagot Ka LAgot Ka Isusumbong Kita... but changed the lyrics to something we humans cannot understand.
@bobothewiseman not to mention the using of the word "para sa mahirap" pagbabago, walang kurupsyon, masa, use of children and all other propaganda you can think of. Funny part is ignorant voters really embrace these traditional politician practices as if it was the epitome of pop culture. We might as well vote for Lady Gaga.
@Glentot - At least man lang sana maintindihan, nagiingay lang sila eh. hasel.
its noise... but here in QC, its so frequent, it becomes white noise... you think you would get used to it.. but you do not.. irritating..
di rin nila ko pinapatulog, ang aga nila magstart. 50 times yata silang dumadaan araw araw.
yung isa from nobody na song naging right round na. dami pera. hehe
politics aside, jingles are still a creative output. kaya nga pag panget, kakatawa or waste of airtime lang. worse, masakit sa ulo kasi noise pollution. i don't like any pres candidate kasi nga i won't be voting. pero ang galeng ng composer ng villar jingle. kahit na siguro less frequency syang i-play, maganda pa rin ang quality. the commercial with the kids all the more make the song infectious.
